Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod is a 501 (c)3 non-profit, organized in 1988 as a recognized affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Inc.

OUR MISSION: Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod works in partnership with families in need to build homes, hope, lives and community.

HHCC serves all 15 towns in Barnstable County and has constructed 60 homes that are deed restricted in perpetuity and available to a family of similar need upon resale. Each house counts toward a town's affordable housing inventory and is a permanent resource for that town.

Description

HHCC's goal is to build 6-8 new affordable homes per year, in our unique manner that emphasizes empowerment for the new homeowner family, while the spirit of service and sense of community in each town where we work. It is our hope to inspire citizens of each town to challenge their community to provide even more opportunities for the neighbors in need.
