Mission Statement

Community Against Drugs and Violence, CADAV, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non- profit civic organization in place to improve and revitilize the Banks Subdivisions by empowering the citizens to alleviate drugs and violence thereby creating a cleaner and safer neighborhood for our youth to prosper and become self-suffienct citizens.

Description

We host monthly community meetings and disseminate information to empower the citizens to take charge and become unitied to restore the nwighborhood in which we reside. Host community festivals, neighborhood clean-ups and youth leadership workshops and training programs. Develop and improve partnerships that assist with adequate and affordable housing and economic develpment in the North Baton Rouge Community.

The organization does a great job bringing the community together for positive safe and drug free events - I recently volunteered at the Pre-Juneteenth Family Day in the Park in conjuntion with the community's Health Fair and it was a wonderful event and well attended - Great Neighborhood Civic organization
