Mission Statement

BadgerBOTS Robotics Corporation’s mission is to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in Dane County by engaging students in exciting hands-on, mentor-based programs that BUILD self-confidence, DEVELOP communication and leadership skills, CREATE opportunities to explore STEM so students will SUCCEED in the 21st century.

Description

BadgerBOTS Robotics is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and participates in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) local, state and worldwide competitions. BadgerBOTS also provides the community with youth education opportunities in the form of camps and afterschool programs.

BadgerBOTS Robotics serves Dane County public, private, virtual or home schooled students in 2nd-12th grade. Since its inception in 2004, BadgerBOTS Robotics has helped approximately 3,000 students discover the fun in science and technology and we are committed to introducing the next generation of engineers, scientists, programmers, technicians, policy makers and project managers to the excitement and challenge of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers.
