To provide the Coastal Carolinas with a resource center for horticultural research and education, leadership development, environmental stewardship and aesthetic appreciation.

The Arboretum is part of the New Hanover County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension, an educational partnership helping people put research based knowledge to work for economic prosperity, environmental stewardship and an improved quality of life.

Description

The Cooperative Extension Campus and Arboretum in New Hanover County is a wonderful place where the expertise of staff, the beauty of the gardens, and the dedication of many volunteers create an exciting environment for learning and inspiration.
