Mission Statement

Our Mission
The Bingham-Waggoner Historical Society was organized for the preservation and interpretation of the Estate. Our focus is to increase the understanding of the history of the Queen City of the Trails, as well as to be an economic asset to the tourism industry, generating interest and dollars while at the same time preserving its special identity.

Providing tours to special interest groups · Working in cooperation with the Three Sites Organization projects · Site Education Programs · Art Programs, including George Caleb Bingham Exhibit · Supplying local schools and teachers with educational materials · Research and Restoration Programs
