Description
Assistance League of South Puget Sound is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping those in need within our community.
We are one of more than 120 local chapters and guilds within a national network, National Assistance League. Through our commitment to hands-on action, nationwide Assistance League volunteers touched the lives of over 1.5 million children, seniors, families and others in need this past year. Combined, we returned an astounding $38+ million to communities across the United States.
We manage several Philanthropic Programs that are focused on lending a helping hand to those in need. Our largest program, Operation School Bell, gives children a complete new wardrobe of school clothing. Other programs provide clothing, hygiene kits, books and toys for children and adults who are homeless and living in shelters.
We rely 100% on volunteers with no paid staff. You are welcome to join us, as there are countless volunteer opportunities in which your talents, skills and interests can be utilized.
