Mission Statement

To continue to serve our local community by providing volunteer services.

Our Commander's intent is - it's important that we take time to reflect on who we are and how our mission fits into and supports the overall Air Force Mission, allowing our small group of people come together and help support our local community by doing some volunteer work.

Description

We started this Service Projects on our Wing Man Day - to strengthen the Academy's team and encourage its workforce to focus what many leaders says is the intitution's most valuable asset - it's people.

Wing Man Day reminds Airmen to practice one on one communication and follow the Golden Rule (of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you).

This year we branched out the airmanship program by doing some service projects at Cheyenne Village Mission - doing yard work to include fire and flood mitigation by removing overgrown shrubs, raked leaves and hauled dried branches that was cut out from trees.

Our Wing Staff Agency decided to do this kind of service projects/volunteer work 4 times a year, not just once a year. It should be a continuing effort.
