Mission Statement

The mission of the College & Community Fellowship (CCF) is to eliminate the individual and social barriers to education and civic participation of formerly incarcerated women and their families.

Description

CCF is unique among programs aimed at helping people reclaim their lives after prison. Many programs address the basic needs of people returning to the community from prison, but only CCF guides them through the stages of higher education while promoting their leadership, self-advocacy, artistic expression, civic participation and long-term economic security. We see beyond reentry. We see limitless possibilities for our students, their families, and their communities. We expect what others deem impossible and the results are incredible!

I started as a volunteer in 2001 and though I now work here, I freely give of my personal time because it's a life changing organization!
