Mission Statement
Tickets for Kids Charities includes deserving children and families across the nation in arts & cultural, educational, sporting and family entertainment events and activities. In doing so, Tickets for Kids Charities bring a source of belonging and joy to those who, otherwise, may never have a chance to fully participate in their enriching community resources.
Description
Tickets for Kids Charities, a non-profit public charity, was established in 1994, when we were struck by the number of empty seats at various shows, games and performances. At the same time, we realized that there was a large, underserved population of children and families who could benefit enormously from exposure to such wonderful events. Thus, Tickets for Kids Charities involves donating these unused tickets to an underserved population through social service agencies and community groups.
Since our inception, Tickets for Kids has reached out to over 1 million deserving kids and families who otherwise would not be able to attend quality community events. Our children and families have the opportunity to attend thousands of outstanding events yearly such as Major League baseball games, museums, ice shows, symphony concerts and live shows and performances with tickets donated through Tickets for Kids Charites.
Our mission is simple: to have all children included in the wonderful opportunities of their region regardless of their financial background. We accomplish our mission by partnering with hundreds of social service agencies and community groups located in often overlooked neighborhoods. Our continued challenge is to secure donations to assure that enriching community events are available to all kids and families throughout our nation.
