The Mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters it to provide quality volunteer and professional services for children and youth, to assist them in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become responsible men and women.

Description

Big Brothers Big Sisters of McKean County offers two types of mentoring programs - community and school-based. In the community-based program, volunteers spend 2-4 hours a month with a child in the community. In the school-based program, volunteers work with children in the school environment. Both programs have an application process that consists of background checks, reference checks, and a personal interview.
