Mission Statement

At the heart of the Circle of Love vision are the needs of those on the streets of our city and we seek to implement practical solutions that address those needs.

We meet immediate needs by providing food, shelter and clothing. But we believe that a vital emphasis on spiritual values provides hope and results in changed lives.

At the Circle of Love shelter, those without hope will find a safe place that provides a vision for people and the wisdom for living life. It is a place that allows power to be released enabling people to struggle well with life. It is a place where people are stirred by the study of God's word and learn to serve others.

Description

OUR FACILITY

The COL campus is located at 13519 n. Main Street in Jacksonville, Florida. Our 9000 sq ft shelter house men as well as medical patients. We have 34 beds for students, 12 beds for medical patients and 8 beds for overnight stays. We teach personal hygiene to all of our guests.

OUR WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday our day begins at 6 am. Breakfast is at 7:30 and prayer in the chapel is from 8 to 8:50. Work period is from 9 until 10:50 am. The residents then participate in a prayer walk on the COL campus from 11 to 11:30. Lunch is served at noon. Bible classes are held from 1 until 4 pm.

Sunday School classes are at 9:00 am chapel begins at 10:30 am. Sunday dinner is at 1:30 pm.

A Christian movie is shown on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. Chapel Services are held on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm and praise and worship is held in the chapel on Thursday evening followed by the "Wild at Heart" multi-media series teaching.
