World Technical Services, Inc. (WTS) is a non-profit organization that provides job opportunities for persons who are blind and severely disabled under the Javits-Wagner-O'Day (JWOD)Program. WTS is a community rehabilitation program (CRP) that manages federal and state contracts for disabled workers to perform office and grounds maintenance, environmental management, and other types of services. WTS is currently planning to expand its program to provide jobs in security and housing. WTS has over 400 employees and has been operating for over 10 years. WTS is a minority directed organization; the majority of its board members and employees are African American and Hispanic.
