Winslow Therapeutic Center has been in operation since 1974. We offer equine assisted therapy to children and adults with a wide range of disabilities, in addition to other complementary therapies.
At Winslow Therapeutic Center, those who cannot walk, make strides; those who are withdrawn, connect to others; those who are afraid, learn to trust. Winslow uses specially trained horses in a natural farm environment to improve motor skills, increase learning ability, enhance concentration, and promote self-esteem for children and adults with special needs. Our clients face physical challenges, autism, attention deficit disorder, learning disabilities, emotional problems, multiple sclerosis and other debilitating disorders,in addition to psychological and emotional disorders. Our facility is state-of-the-art, and only two years old. Certified staff, trained volunteers, and excepetional horses make Winslow a wonderful place to volunteer.
