Description

Volunteers of America is a national, nonprofit, spiritually based organization. Alaska creates volunteer opportunities to help support the lives of the families, seniors and youth.

SPECIAL EVENT ASSISTANT AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
Volunteers are needed to assist with the agency special event fundraisers and require many persons willing to help organize, plan and conduct the different events.

OFFICE ASSISTANT:
Volunteers are needed to assist with computer data entry and the maintenance of agency mailing list.

PROGRAM ASSISTANT:
Volunteers are needed to assist with the annual 5K race conducted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. This event is held in June and requires many persons willing to help organize and conduct the race.

CLERICAL:
Volunteers are needed to assist with the maintenance of the accounts payable and accounts receivable files, program grant files.
