Run an errand; listen to cherished memories; give a hug; touch a heart; change a life (maybe your own); with hospice patients and their families.

Are you available day-time hours...primarily week days...to visit with patients. Would you like to relieve caregivers so they may go shopping, take a nap, or have a break with a friend? Maybe you would like to run errands for families.

As a volunteer, you would help the entire hospice team in giving physical, mental, spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families. Through 16 hours of training we give community people like you, the tools to help in situations which may arise.

A visit might be 1-3 hrs long. The amount of time needed is variable with each family.
