Help Keep Kids Safe (Project SMART - Safety Means Abduction Resistance Training)

There are many ways volunteers can help keep kids safe. You can help by...
(1) Assisting VCA staff by giving child safety/child abduction prevention presentations to elementary school classrooms at schools throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Receive training, then volunteer at schools near your home.
(2) Help educate the community about child abduction prevention by assisting VCA staff at community events (festivals, safety fairs, etc.)- volunteers get free admission to the events! ***This is the area where we need volunteers most*** Volunteers become trained to fingerprint children and educate parents, children, and the public about the important issue of child safety. (3)Put up posters of missing children in the areas around your home. Your hard work could reunite a family in crisis!
(4)Help out in our office. We love visitors.
