Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
Old McMicky's Farm is dedicated to providing children the authentic old fashioned farm life with an educational twist that mixes fun and knowledge to create memories for years to come.
Old McMicky’s Farm hosted field trips for about 30,000 Tampa Bay area children every year, with many seeing and interacting with goats, pigs and sheep for the first time in their lives.
Re-opening in 2013, Old McMicky’s Farm is bringing back the beloved tradition of farm life to a new generation - offering a rare opportunity for kids to interact face-to-face with farm animals. This hands-on educational experience shows everyone from young to old how life was, and still is lived on an American farm.
Visiting the farm makes for a fun-filled day with the opportunity to touch, see and have an up close experience with American farm animals - while also taking an exciting hayride, exploring the barn maze, milking a cow and more!
Another very important mission of Old McMicky’s Farm is giving back to the community - creating an amazing day of fun-filled memories for children and wounded veterans facing challenges all on us.
