To support (Entrepreneur Corps) the efforts of the Texas Home of Your Own Program in Houston address the housing

The Texas Home of Your Own Coalition responds to the critical lack of housing and promotes housing and homeownership opportunities for people with disabilities. This project addresses the necessary steps to sustain the existing capacity, to use the developed capacity, to capture the emerging opportunities and the next level of activity needed to address the homeownership and housing crisis for people with disabilities in Texas.

Goals
· Technical assistance and resource support to current communities in the areas of homeownership counseling, vouchers and use of down payment subsidies; housing services and supports to people with disabilities;
· Plan and resource development for long term sustainability of capacity and funding for each local HOYO community;
· Plan and resource development for long term sustainability of Texas HOYO Coalition and development of "challenge funds" to create additional capacity in unserved communities.
