The Virginia Home is a long term care residential facility for adults with physical disabilities. We are located adjacent to Byrd and Maymont Parks in Richmond, VA.
The Virginia Home is a unique facility and is home to 130 adults (average age of 46). These adults have disabilities such as cerebral palsey, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries and/or spinal cord injuries. Most residents use wheelchairs. Residents enjoy private rooms and have access to various amenities including day rooms overlooking the park, dining room, English garden, chapel, library, gymnasium, swimming pool, beauty parlor, and recreational areas. Residents receive 24 hour nursing care and have access to physical, occupational and recreation therapies.
