We are seeking volunteers for our hospice organization for both direct patient care (reading to, visiting, etc) and administrative (filing, copying)

Trinity Hospice provides training for 3 types of volunteers we utilized. They are direct patient care and these volunteers are assigned a patient(s) to visit on a flexible basis such as 1 x a month, 2 x a month etc. but not day specific...so it can be on your own schedule. These volunteers may read to, pray with, sing to, and even do a manicure on the patient...mainly provide companionship and a listening ear. We also have bereavement volunteers and these volunteers usually have already been a direct patient care volunteer and then when the patient dies, they provide support to the family, attend the funeral, take a meal etc. Finally, we have administrative volunteers who come to our office in Checotah and do letters, copying, filing et
