TIP Hospice

Searching for caring individuals to provide both direct support to patients through visits and indirect support through craft projects, crocheting, knitting, and office support. Training provided.

Volunteers are at the core of hospice care. The efforts of our volunteers support the work of the paid staff through providing extra emotional support, caregiver relief, and practical assistance to patients and families. In addition to visiting volunteers, TIP Hospice also seeks volunteers with skills such as knitting/crocheting, sewing and quilting to make comfort items for our patients. Office volunteers would also be appreciated. Volunteers may also help with additional volunteer recruitment projects. Some volunteer responsibilities can be done from home. We seek to be flexible to meet the needs and interests of our volunteers.
