Make new friends with the heroes from WWII, Korea and the Vietnam Era. Volunteers can help members particpate in activities such as walks outside, game playing or card playing plus just socializing.

Volunteers are needed to supplement the staff. Volunteers fill in when family cannot be here with their loved one. They provide a valuable service to the men and women of the Home whenever they spend time getting to know the members. You can help to brighten up someone's day with a smile, hand shake and a few words of encouragement just by showing a genuine interest helps the member to feel worthwhile and more connected to the community. Volunteers can sponsor an activity such as bingo or help organize events such as Memorial Day cermonies. Getting to know the members will get you hooked. You will feel connected to the veterans, their home and you will enjoy each visit. You will know that you have made a difference!
