We offer daily activities for the residents here. Such arts & crafts, bingo, parties, music programs, socialization, much more. Opportunities to work in a group or individual basis with residents.

Most of the residents here are long term and enjoy very much having visitors come in to the facility to just visit or help put on a special program. They enjoy having people come to play the piano or any instrument, singing programs, religious ser. They also enjoy having visitors to help out with group activities so they are able to get more one on one assistance with the activity. For example in arts & crafts they may need help due to loss of vision or decreased hand functioning, in bingo they may need help seeing the numbers due to loss of vision. We also have volunteer opprotunities that does not include working with the residents such as decorating the facility for holidays, planning parties and assisting with organization of events

Being able to help out the elderly is a wonderful ouportunity it is important to let them know that they still matter and are loved even if they dont have family of there own to tell them that there is still a purpose for them being here and i am the one to let them know that.
