Description
We offer various projects in 6 program areas (arts, conservation, education, homelife, international affairs, public affairs) through 15 area clubs, with state, national, and international affiliation
Current projects:
Obtaining thermal imaging equipment for every station in the Sacramento Metropolitain Fire Department.
Collecting old cell phones to be refurbished for women in abusive situations to call for help. Funds are also raised to provide airtime for the phones.
Replacing and refurbishing bells on the El Camino Real mission trail.
Working with local schools providing materials and supplies as well as participating in mentoring programs.
Providing necesitie crisis nurseries to provide necessities and "security blanket" for childrem at crisis nurseries.
Knitting caps for babies in the premie nurseries.
Making turtle pillow and quilts for the Painted Turtle summer camp--a camp for seriously ill children--a Paul Newman charity
