Bandwagon was established to provide high quality experiences in the arts for studentsnto build community; to explore identity and honor diversity; to promote tolerance; to encourage exploration, discovery, imagination, and creativity; to develop students’ communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; and to celebrate the arts as essential to our humanity. Bandwagon’s activities aim to teach the value of integrity, professionalism, commitment, trust, courage, passion, and grace; to develop, encourage, support, nurture, and promote arts education; and to enlighten school decision-makers about the value of arts education.
Bandwagon's main event is the Terezin Festival. It is designed is to teach tolerance and international understanding to high school students through the arts on site at the former concentration camp known as Terezin, outside of Prague.
