Committed to a never-kill principle, Saving One Life Animal Rescue and Sanctuary protects, provides and cares for at-risk cats and dogs through foster and adoption programs, animal sanctuary services, feline colony management, community outreach and collaboration.

I love volunteering with Saving One Life! They are so organized! You can choose from a variety of days, times, and locations. Shifts are often 1.5 - 2 hours per shift. You can commit to as little or as much as you have time for. It can also vary from week to week. We like that you don't have a set schedule, it makes it easy to volunteer a lot one week and not volunteer on weeks we are busy or on vacation. It is so flexible, we often check the day of or the day before for their volunteer needs and schedule it at the last moment. This works well with our erratic schedules. I also love that my 12 year old daughter can help! They are an amazing organization, we love playing with all of the kitties, and they make it so easy for us to help!

There are a variety of tasks available and flexible hours. I enjoy the hands on time I get helping care for rescue cats. While I make a difference in their lives, they are making a difference in mine. Saving One Life has great volunteers!
