Save the Children is a leading international nonprofit children's humanitarian and development organization. Our nationally recognized Web of Support after-school initiative provides 125,000 forgotten children and youth access to safe places, constructive activities and caring adults to guide them away from risky behaviors and toward a promising future of academic and personal growth.

In inner-city neighborhoods across the country children and youth are often faced with drug activity, gang violence, and ethnic tensions as well as very high dropout rates and little focus on helping poor youth on career paths. Our urban programs collaborate with nonprofit organizations and other resourcesat the local level to help children and youth reach their highest potential. We recognize and believe in the power of young adults to be leaders and agents of change and cultivate this potential.
