Mission Statement

Recently renovated, the fun and funky Roxy Theater is Missoula's non-profit community cinema. The Roxy hosts regular weekly screenings of award-winning new and classic films, live music, and community events. The Roxy also hosts exclusive cultural programming, including The Met Opera: Live in HD and National Theater Live. In addition to a monthly calendar of exciting programs, The Roxy is also the host venue for many annual events, including our own International Wildlife Film Festival, the oldest and longest running wildlife media event in the world.

Description

Volunteering at The Roxy is a wonderful way to meet fellow film fans, eat organic popcorn and watch great movies for free--all while supporting a non-profit pillar of Missoula’s art and music community. We do our best to make volunteering an exciting opportunity for you. Volunteers receive complimentary movie passes and concessions in exchange for their time, and we also have volunteer appreciation parties several times a year.

The Roxy requires volunteers almost every night of the week to sell tickets at the box office, run our concessions stand and to project movies. During the week we also need office help, graphic design work, outreach, janitorial duties, marketing, etc. To be frank, we would not be able to keep The Roxy running without volunteers.

Please let us know what you’re interested in doing and we’ll put your skills to work. Thanks and we look forward to meeting you and having you join our great team of Roxy Volunteers!
