Austell Community Taskforce

Description

It is in the spirit of residents, community associations, business, non-profits. faith groups, law-enforcement, politicians and local government agencies coming together to build communities, strengthen families, and protect children that in February of 2001 the Austell Community-Taskforce (ACT) was formed.

ACT is a resident-lead community-based umbrella organization
for a defined area of South Cobb County, which includes
but is not limited to, Six Flags Drive. Our purpose is to
systematically identify, connect, develop, and maintain
resources with in the community.

Ensuring quality public education for community youth.

Increasing the awareness of political and governmental
issues affecting the community.

Establishing and maintaining desired neighborhood
businesses and employment opportunites.

Protectinq community residents from crime and violence
are just a few key.
