Meals on Wheels is a service offered to homebound elders in eleven communities on the south shore. The service is provided solely through the caring of volunteers who package and deliver the noonday meal by day or multiple days on any given day, Monday-Friday. Reliable vehicle and cheerful attitude is a requirement!
Friendly Visitors is a program of sharing interests or hobbies with an isolated elder on any given day, evening or weekend and enriching their life through companionship.
After initial application, each position has training and support as necessary.
