Mission Statement

Young Minds Advocacy Project works to improve the lives of young people living with mental illness through increasing access to quality mental health services and supports. We also work to stregthen the voice of the mental health stakeholder community in the development and implementation of the programs and policies that affect their lives.

Description

Young Minds Advocacy Project is a small (but growing) non profit organziation located at the Impact Hub in downtown San Francisco. We work to improve the public mental health system through legal advocacy, policy work, and community engagement, so that it better serves youth and families. Our advocacy efforts are focused in California and other Western states.
