THERE IS SOMEONE WAITING FOR YOUR HELP!

The Shenandoah Area Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. Our RSVP project works with about 120 volunteer stations (non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organizations)that have registered and listed their current volunteer needs. Volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice by matching the volunteers' personal interests and skills with opportunities to help solve community problems. RSVP offers supplemental insurance while on duty, pre-service orientation, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
