Description

Volunteers responding to the call of our Homeland Security and Disaster Preparedness can make a huge difference in their lives and the lives of others, find out how.

Colbert County Homeland Security RSVP has many interesting and stimulating opportunities available for seniors, 55 and over, to serve their community. Our Homeland Security RSVP volunteers will assist the Sheriff's Office, the Police and Fire Departments, the Emergency Management Office, the Muscle Shoals Regional Airport and the Health Department with various needs that are currently going unmet. Our program offers opportunities to use your skills and experience, and to learn something new and exciting every day. We also furnish supplemental accident and liability insurance. Your life experience can make such a difference and you may get back more than you give.
