The Teaching Museum's mission is to provide Authentic Experiences & Innovative Instruction that support student critical thinking and learning. Our programs:

  • Are directly tied to the CCGPS/GPS
  • Provide students a spark to connect with and respond to learning
  • Assist in building the educational foundation for college- and career-ready graduate

Description

The Teaching Museum provides hands-on educational exhibits and arts-based programming that engage students in the Humanities, Language Arts, Mathematics, Sciences, and Fine Arts, with the goal of improving student achievement.

The Museum introduces students from kindergarten through twelfth-grade to fundamental concepts in creative and imaginative ways. All programs are curriculum-based and support the Georgia Performance Standards.
