To promote physical fitness, generate community goodwill, and showcase the organizational skills of the United States Marine Corps.

Description

The Marine Corps Marathon hosts several events throughout the calendar year requiring the support of many volunteers.

Opportunities to work alongside the U.S. Marines range from distributing runner packets and bibs before the event to supporting a water point, food station, or medical station during the event. To stay close to the action, volunteers may with to assist with baggage claim or hospitality services.

Individuals, as well as groups, are encouraged to support throughout the year. Volunteer opportunities are announced a minimum of six weeks before an event.
