Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Our mission is to create a better Festival Miami expereince for all concert goers.
Volunteers should wear a nice white top and black pants.
Please arrive at the concert hall one hour before the scheduled concert time and report to the box office. (For example: If a concert starts at 8 p.m., please report at 7:00 p.m.)
All volunteers must stay at their posts until 15 minutes after intermission and must report to the box office to receive one (1) complimentary ticket.
Volunteers cannot attend the concerts they usher.
If volunteers are faced with a problem with a patron, please report to the box office with the patron and we will resolve the issue.
Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to:
Collecting ticket stubs
Handing out program books
nserting program notes, contributor pages, and other papers into program books
Assisting patrons to their seats
One (1) complimentary ticket (up to $35 value) will be given to each volunteer who successfully completes his/her tasks 15 minutes after intermission.
Complimentary ticket cannot be to a concert that the volunteer is ushering in.
Complimentary ticket must be to a concert that is not sold out.
Complimentary ticket does not include VIP receptions.
Festival Miami reserves right to reject a particular complimentary concert ticket request and may suggest a similar concert in its place.
Community Service Hours
In addition to a free ticket, students may receive anywhere from 2 to 4 community service hours per concert. Please be sure to notify a Festival Miami staff member on the night that you volunteer. Students will receive, upon request, a written letter on Festival Miami letterhead verifying participation in this year’s concert season.
