Mission Statement

The mission of The Maria J. Torres-Gil Community Center is to strengthen communities through the development of affordable housing, rehabilitation and repairs and to grow the economy, by working with the diverse people who live, work and invest in these communities. We are committed to enhance the quality of life for low and moderate income persons by developing decent and affordable housing. We create safe, well planned, attractive residential communities and enable families to become self-sufficient and communities to become stable. Furthermore, we believe in providing services and programs to our residents, that will create opportunities that will lead them to become successful.
