Description

Through Common Good RSVP, dedicated volunteers are enhancing the quality of life for people throughout our five county service area. RSVP volunteers make a difference!

For many people, retirement is a time when they have the time and interest in "giving back" to their communities through service to people in need. The Common Good Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) helps match people 55 and over with a variety of types of volunteer opportunities. Local program coordinators help interested persons sign up with volunteer positions that are aligned with their personal interests, skills, and abilities. Volunteers are given on-the-job training from the agency or organization where they are placed. RSVP volunteers may contribute a few hours a month or several hours each week, depending on their availability.
