The mission of NAMI Hampton/Newport News is to improve the quality of life for persons affected with biologically based brain disorders through education, advocacy, and support.

Description

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI advocates for access to services, treatment, supports, and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community of hope for all of those in need.

NAMI Hampton/Newport News is an affiliate of NAMI Virginia. We work in our local communities of Hampton and Newport News to raise awareness and provide advocacy, and essential education and support group programs. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
