To empower our youth to become in tune with their social values by providing a safe haven throughout the year, increase academic proficiency and enhance their social enrichment skills at little cost to their family.

Description

New H.O.P.E. (Hope, Opportunity, and Purpose and Empowerment) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that falls under the umbrella of Antioch Baptist Church, Inc. New H.O.P.E. is comprised of three core programs: 1) After School Program consists of two components; a. Tutoring program - focus on literacy, homework and school projects. b. After School Enrichment program - focus on health and nutrition activities, social skills and cultural awareness for kindergarten - 8th grades. Free snacks are provided. 2) Teen Saturday/College Readiness - offers ACT Preparatory courses, college readiness and social enrichment activities for youth 8th - 12th grades. Free snacks are provided. 3) Summer Youth Program - provides math and reading in the morning and life-skills and leadership development activities in the afternoon for kindergarten - 8th grades. Free breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided.
