Last year volunteers tutored more than 6,000 students and recruited more than 4,500 community volunteers to help! WRC is an AmeriCorps program, under the federal authority of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) that places members in high-need early learning sites and schools across the state, typically where the average free and reduced- price lunch percentage is 60%.
