Tutor and mentor kids in the downtown area in our after-school program. Help kids get back on track academically and also decrease school absences. A great opportunity to help at-risk kids.

Our after-school and summer programs have kids in grades 1-8 that are behind academically and socially. We have supervised mentoring and tutoring sessions Monday through Thursday after school at various sites to help the kids improve grades and reach academic level. You can volunteer one day a week or all four days if you wish. The age of a child you wish to work with is also flexible. Many of the kids in our program have drastically improved academically from the extra one-on-one help! We are very flexible with vacations and work with the school calendar. There is no program on holidays or snow days. Every volunteer makes a huge difference in the lives of these children.
