YOUR SERVICE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD

The Foster Grandparent Program offers persons age 60 and older opportunities to serve as mentors, tutors, and loving caregivers for children and youth with special needs. As a Foster Grandparent Volunteer,if you meet income eligibility guidelines, will receive a modest, tax-free stipend to offset the cost of volunteering. Foster Grandparents serve 20 hours a week, usually 4 hours a day Monday through Friday, serving children directly with one-on-one, hands-on service. Other benefits include reimbursement for transportation, some meals during service, an annual physical, and accident and liability insurance while on duty. Pre-Service and monthly training sessions provided.
