Preservation Idaho is dedicated to preserving the state's historic and cultural resources through education and advocacy.

Description

Preservation Idaho is the vision in the new millenium of the Idaho Historic Preservation Council which was founded in 1972 by concerned Idahoans who wanted to stem and reverse the alarming rate at which historic sites and resources in Idaho were being lost to develoipment and neglect.

Now, it is more necessary than ever to preserve historic and cultural resources, to promote the smart re-use of historic facilities and to educate the community-at-large of the value of keeping Idaho's heritage for future generations.
