Candlelight Ranch provides therapeutic and educational nature-based experiences to enrich the lives of at-risk youth, children with disabilities and their families.

Description

Candlelight Ranch partners with community organizations and schools to provide nature based innovative activities that are customized to meet the specific needs of each group of children served. Available activities include nature art, equine-assisted actuvutuesm canoeing and kayaking, fishing, hiking, zip lines, high and low ropes challenge courses, experiencing our sustainable gardens, camping and more. We also provide monthly Military Family Days.

Through their active participation in these activities and contact with nature, our campers build confidence, self-esteem and skills that support overcoming challenges in their daily lives. Volunteer opportunities range from ranch work, maintaining the gardens, wev-site assistance, camp counselors, assistance with events, and helping with the various activiites we provide.
