About Cancer Support Community Central Texas Cancer Support Community Central Texas (CSCCT) is a licensed affiliate of Cancer Support Community (CSC), a national organization created in 2009 from the merger of The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club Worldwide. These two nonprofit organizations are leaders in providing personalized services to people touched by cancer for more than 45 combined years. CSCCT’s mission addresses the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) key finding that social and emotional support is as important as medical care in the face of a cancer diagnosis.

Whether you’re a patient, a caregiver, or a family member going through a new diagnosis, active treatment, post-treatment, or just everyday life, the planned programs CSCCT will provide are meant to help create a better quality of life through initial diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. CSCCT.org
