Mission Statement

The Humane Society of Delaware County (HSDC) is located in Delaware, Ohio and is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abused, neglected, and homeless pets find their forever homes.

Description

In addition to operating a nonprofit animal shelter we provide many other services to the community. We serve and protect animals by conducting cruelty investigations, providing humane education, operating a low-cost Vaccination and Wellness Clinic, and reducing pet overpopulation through our low-cost Spay and Neuter Clinic.

The Humane Society of Delaware County has a great volunteer training program - it made me feel informed and ready to volunteer when opportunities arose. Debra, their volunteer coordinator, is organized and friendly, I knew just where I was going and what to do. I love this place and who wouldn't want to support the animals!
