Mission Statement

The Mission of San Buenaventura Friends of the Library (SBFOL) is to support the public libraries of Ventura in their efforts to maintain a high standard of library service for the benefit of the community.

Description

In furthering this mission, SBFOL activities may include: the raising and donating of funds for the purchase of library materials, equipment and special library programs; the raising and donating of funds for library construction; the distribution of information to increase public awareness, use and appreciation of our public libraries; and the positive influence of government policy concerning libraries through education.
