Mission Statement

HarborCOV supports survivors of domestic violence by providing emergency shelter, support, and healing services for women and children. We work to end domestic violence through education, organizing, and community collaboration.

Description

Harbor Communities Overcoming Violence (HarborCOV) helps women to save themselves and their children from family violence, reclaim control of their lives and make healthy changes towards self-sufficiency. Women make these changes through the follwing HarborCOV services: 24-hour hotline, emergency safe home (2-week stay), legal advocacy, domestic violence and dating violence support groups and individual advocacy. Our efforts to end domestic violence are focused of the following projects: Youth Peer Leadership Program, Men Against Domestic Violence, Community Task Forces, and outreach and education.
