General assistance in the management of a small school - including light office work, reading to young children, preparing snack, and administering tender care when needed.

River Valley School is a diverse school with a focus on hands-on learning. Our administrative staff is small and our dedicated teaching staff is very small. Snall classes sizes, parental involvement, integration of the arts into the curriculum, and foreign language make River Valley School unique.

Children learn in different ways, and it is not uncommon for children to work on individual projects side-by-side. A healthy snack is important to get through morning work. Children learn in a multiage classroom setting where they study Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, music and art from special subjects teachers several times a week.
